I'm going to be arriving in Jacksonville (JAX) in the afternoon and I would love to know if anyone else is arriving then.

I can pitch in money for gas, etc. I just really need a ride and I cannot afford the flat rate on the taxis

All I know is, I want to make it to the Pre-Fest show, and I might even book a flight To/From Tampa.

Greyhound has scheduled buses from Jacksonville to Gainesville and its cheap ($15-19). The only problem is I don't know if it leaves from the airport or what and where it drops you off. It might be cutting it close but it looks like there is one leaving at 2 on Thursday however it also looks like it will be going Lake City to do a transfer and the trip itself is estimated to be 4 hours.

I would consider rerouting myself from Atlanta on Thursday and dropping through Jacksonville if someone is willing to throw in some gas money. I will be stopping in Gainesville and then down to Tampa for the prefest shows. Let me know if this could help anyone. I know some gas cash would help on this end.

The Greyhound station is ten miles from the airport so you would have to take a cab there I think, and then the station in Gainesville is five miles away from Fest. Also yes, the 2:00 trip takes a little over four hours...
