I've never heard of them either! I've seen the name mentioned before but assumed it was a reference to Alkaline Trio being so dull to watch live!

My exact same thoughts at some point. It would be nice if they got back together for The Fest 10. On a sad note, it wouldn't make any sense for them since APPARENTLY Strike Anywhere isn't even playing. Revolution...I Think It's Called Inspiration is one of my favorite Hardcore records of all time. To be honest, I'd rather watch Strike Anywhere than Inquistion.

I saw 90s and Virginia, then my brain when to Inquisition. I've seen Strike Anywhere many times, most recently, twice at Riot Fest. I'd kill to get a chance to see Inquisition.

According to Strike ANywhere's site they aren't on tour, but it seriously lacked updates

I have seen Strike Anywhere before as well. I honestly wouldn't imagina Inquistion playing Fest. It's just too utopic if you will. When was the last time they even played a show? It would be a crazy and unexpected reunion haha. Strike Anywhere is on tour with A Wilhelm Scream and The Copyrights (which are both playing Fest) but apparently they got asked to played Best Friends Day in VA and they don't want to play 2 fests in a row. I can't imagine a Fest without Strike Anywhere on it. I really hope they make a surprise appearance or something out of nowhere.

They did a reunion show in '07 in RIchmond. It was before i had a decent job and could afford to travel. I so wanted to go.

It is a band that - whether you've heard of them or not - will knock you on your ass live. Those who were around to see them play back in the day can attest to how much raw frenetic energy was produced every time they played. Gonna be GREAT! Watch this if you don't believe me.

It's not Avail. Read carefully through the lines of this thread. The name of the band was mentioned a couple of times. I just don't want to "spoil it" directly and get in trouble haha. But yeah, it's not Avail nor is it Inquistion

I'll be watching them, so here is hoping they are as good as some people are making them out to be.

This is pretty awesome. If I leave the venue during Bouncing Souls, will I be able to get back in for HWM after the DD mystery band? I think that will be a big factor on whether I go check them out.

Lines usually calm down after the first band or the second band but since Double Down is not one of the biggest venues, it might get over capacity. If I was you, I would wait for someone with a better knowledge of this to answer my question. I've never had to switch venues before (been to Fest only once) my answer has been taken from other threads
