this is tough for me this year, because I really want to avoid both The Venue and 8 Seconds, but that's where most of the bands I love are playing.
1. Slow Death 2. Larry And His Flask 3. GD Doo Wop Band 4. Soul Control 5. No Trigger (even though they are at 8 Seconds)
suggest other bands for me to go see that are at smaller venues.

Other bands that are good and are playing at smaller venues are Go Rydell, Hold Tight!, Grown Ups, Young Turks, Former Thieves, and I think Weak Teeth is playing at a small venue, not sure about that. Pretty much all the recent Hardcore bands are playing at small places haha. Check out Young Turks, those dudes are really good, fast paced Hardcore. Former Thieves's got some of the best riffs in Hardcore. I saw them at SXSW and at Ieperfest and they killed it. Go Rydell is one more KD esque band that know what they are doing. Hold Tight! is a badass Pop Punk band from VA (I think), Grown Ups is a good Emo/Indie band for fans of Texas Is The Reason, Transit, and stuff like that. Weak Teeth is another Hardcore band from VA. I want to see No Trigger too! I hope they play at a house, been posting about that for quite a bit now lol

TOP TEN!
RVIVR Iron Chic Cobra Skulls Mixtapes Spraynard The Measure [sa] Tigers Jaw The Menzingers The Copyrights How Dare You
I'm gonna try harder this year to see bands that I haven't seen. Half of my top ten are in that category. I'm so pumped.

SO tough. there's really only one band I don't want to miss and that's HWM. And maybe Armalite. Everything else is gravy.

i pretty much bought a Fest ticket solely to see Hot Water Music because they are the one band I HAVE to see before I (or they?) die. Kid Dynamite was HUGE news for me also because they are always in the conversation with HWM on my favorite bands ever.
Everything else is just gravy. Though I'm super pumped to see Samiam and Paint It Black also

10- Samiam 9- None More Black 8- Comadre 7- Against Me! 6- Circle Takes The Square 5- Paint It Black 4- Punch 3- Dillinger Four 2- Kid Dynamite 1- Hot Water Music [quote]
Wow, I can't believe that I actually managed to watch 8 of these! Well 9 counting that Comadre show that got shut down and their At The Drive In cover set. The only band I didn't get to watch was Circle Takes The Square (not like I cared too much about them anyway)
