Miami is pretty awesome BUTT it is a 6 hour journey from Gainesville. If you just wanna get your beach on, go 80 minutes east to St Augustine. Plus, St Aug has some awesome historical places and boss food joints

I think Miami is hell, but I'm there all the time. Maybe it's different to people seeing it for the first time.

i used to live there for 22 years. the traffic and douchebags can make it hell, but the art, culture and food are pretty cool.

S. Augustine would be a much better beach. And the town is pretty chill, good way to unwind after Fest.

Going to Orlando after Fest for a few days then driving down, if anyone knows any good hang outs that would be rad, went to St Aug before nice town.
