It's all perspective. If you live on the East Coast, 3 hours does seem like a long drive, since everything is so close. We used to regularly drive 2-3 hours to see shows when I was in college in central Indiana, though. 2+ hours to Chicago, close to 3 to get to Louisville. 3+ to St. Louis, Cincinatti, or Columbus. Used to go see shows in all those cities all the time. Hell, we even drove 10 hours to see Boy Sets Fire in Philly once then turned around and drove right back after the show. Out west now, it was easy 2+ hours from up in the mountains to Denver to see shows. I really can appreciate it now that it's just a 10-20 minute bike ride for shows now that I'm in Denver proper.
Can't wait for Fest. October is gonna feel like a long month, I think. And, hell yeah, KD better play. Lots of awesome bands, and I'm sure plenty of awesome surprises in store. So psyched for Fest.

So psyched for Fest. yup you are right, i live in Tijuana and i go to a lot of shows in San Diego which it's relatively close, half hour max, but thats not the problem, the problem is crossing the border, you are lucky if you wait 45 min to cross, but most of the time you can spend there 2 to 3 hours, even 4 or 5 in holiday season, just waiting to get the the other side, now i also go to a lot of shows to LA and Long Beach, which is like a 2 to 2:30 hour drive, that doesn't bother me that much when i've spent 3 hours waiting to cross to the US

I will make all the sarcastic remarks I want. That was as light-hearted as my jokes get. No need to get up in arms over it. I also have no idea what "b9" is.

Armalite, None More Black, Paint It Black, Kid Dynamite, and Lifetime on the same weekend. This is better than Disneyland!

Me too. They are from where I'm from (the philly area) yet they never play there anymore. So I'm stoked to finally get a chance to see them again. That venue is going to be so packed though. Isn't that the night Lifetime, PIB, and D4 are playing?

Dillinger Four, Paint It Black, Kid Dynamite? , Against Me!, Smoke Or Fire, Off With Their Heads, Dead To Me, and Make Do And Mend are playing that show. It will still be packed hahahaha. That's the same night as Red City Radio and Bomb The Music Industry! in case you were wondering who else was playing on that same night

Esp. because everyone is banking hard on KD being there.

Lifetime dropped. Kid Dynamite took their spot. Now you can go watch Polar Bear Club if you are not a Kid Dynamite fan

Hmmm...PBC vs KD....is that even up for debate? I mean I looovee PBC, but KD is legendary. Besides, KD and PBC aren't playing at the same time! Im sooo amped but i'm pretty bummed that Lifetime dropped off it would've been sweet to see PIB, Lifetime, NMB, and KD all together, figures it was too good to be true, I have yet to see Lifetime. We all knew KD was gonna make an appearance. Lifetime come back Just give birth to the baby at the Fest, how rad would that be, a Fest baby and we'll worship it.
