I remember walking to a Method of Destruction show when I ran into some crusty kids. One of them asked if I wanted to hear some grindcore songs on acoustic. I'd declined but looking back, I should've been all "alright, play me some Napalm Death and/or Rotten Sound then". That would've been quite the sight.

Looks like you bought into the marketing hype. And there are quite a few more companies that make footwear in the US. New Balance is the only atheltic shoes company that claims their footwear is made here. Jon

Yeah I saw all that too, but "Made in USA of imported components" or "at least 70% made in USA" is still better than everyone else.

In short, I prefer wearing Athletic Shoes and I like to support domestic manufacturing, whether that is in whole or in part – rather than not at all.
