These are exactly the two bands I'll be missing from The Fest that I'd really want to see there or I'll regret it for the rest of my life. How does house shows work? Do I have to contact the owner of the house? Do I have to buy tickets in advance? Or anyone can enter until the house is filled up?

I went to quite a few during Fest 8. Okay, if I was you, I would be on Punch and Comadre's Facebook/Twitter/Mysce pages 24/7 to see if they post the address of the house. I am a hundred percent sure that they will play at a couple of houses this year. And yeah man, I am managing to watch Punch on Sunday but there's no way I can watch Comadre. By the way man, judging by your name, are you from Italy or do you own an Italian passport? If so, we are 2 pizza boys together in this deal haha

That's awesome, I guess I'll bring a wi-fi device so I can check that as much as I can. I really want to see Punch/Ampere but there's Less Than Jake and I really need to see Comadre but there's Samiam/Lifetime which I really can't miss. I'm from Perú but yes, I'm travelling with an italian passport since my dad's family is from Italy. Any pizza recommendations? If possible, vegetarian. I've heard Five Stars Pizza is really good, hope I don't get wrong with that one!

You have obviously heard from someone with no money and no taste buds. Five Star's pizza is edible at best and available late at night. Those are the only things going for it. You can get good pizza at Blue Highway or Satchel's.

I also like Mamma Mia's a lot, nothing fancy, just good solid pizza. It's on the corner of Main and 23rd. Satchel's is great too, it's further down 23rd, and they only take cash.

House shows usually happen about an hour after the last band plays sometimes later. Last year when Paint It Black played the warehouse with MDAM and Defeater and all them I want to say it started at like 2am maybe? Somewhere around there cause I wasn't back from the place I was staying until like 4. Also, house shows are free, or at least everyone I've been to has been and I've seen some wild house shows, PIB,Touche Amore,Shook Ones etc. The best way to find out about them is just lurk your favorite bands twitter/facebook and just ask people whats going on afterwards. Check the Intro thread and look at my picture. If you see me do NOT hesitate to ask me if I know where anything is going on. I love making new friends at Fest!!! Also, the warehouse shows are usually far from downtown so if you're not driving you will probably have to take a cab or ask someone for a ride. The house/warehouses are sometimes better than the actual official Fest shows.
