We're gonna be in Florida for a few days either side of the Fest, what are the pros and cons of spending our time in these towns? What would you do if you were in them?

id go to orlando. it pretty much has everything tampa has, unless you want to see a hockey game or go to the aquarium in st. pete.

I don't want to see a hockey game. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing a hockey game, but I'd rather see a basketball game. I think there's a Magic game on Halloween, are tickets hard to get hold of? And are there no pre-Fest shows in Orlando?

i think there is one pre-fest show in orlando but its nothing in comparison to the tampa shows. magic game tickets are pretty easy to get but from the looks of this season not really worth it.

Hrm. This is an interesting development. What's so good about Tampa (apart from pre-Fest gigs) and so bad about Orlando (apart from not pre-Fest gigs)?

And I forgot about the bathrooms. Orlando has the nastiest bathrooms I have ever seen in one consecutive trip. Worse than Tijuana, and there are some true "shit-holes" in Tijuana.

I'm not gonna get into the "which is better" in general debate...but I will say that if you are looking to party...there will be a ton of dudes and chicks partying pre and post Fest in Tampa...and we've got the freakin' Taco Bus for fuck's sake.
