I know some of y'all read Glypher's "Best Fest Story Ever", but I figured I'd post something that's like the total opposite. Alright, here goes...

I was done with the first day of Fest and was messin' with my brother's Netflix when one of his drunk buddies walks in then looks at my Fest wristband, picks at it, and spews out some drunken nonsense. Weird. Then there was when he spotted me when I was about to leave for another day at Fest. He asks what's up, I tell him, then ask him what was up. His reply of "just watching you leave" was probably the creepiest thing I heard all Fest long. Good thing I didn't see him after. I mean, good god...

I'm going to have to contend that me getting head-butted in the face and having my nose broken during the Flatliners was worse than you being a little creeped out by your brother's roommate.

Yeah, I'd actually have to agree...dang.

I got a rash on my face more than likely from a clusterfuck of crusties. Is that a contender?

Not as bad as a broken nose, but it's up there...

Dude, there's a large chance we had a head-on collision, or someone was being retarded in the pit. I got a busted open eye during Flatliners, but I'm pretty sure it was an accident.

So if you somehow remember a bald dude in a choking victim shirt headbutting you, that was an accident. Don't worry, I got mine too, first time I got busted up at a show.

I think I'd rather get my nose broken than risk catching crustie!

It was the back of a non-bald guy's head that caught me. It also seemed accidental, so I just had to let it go.

Same here. My nose still hurts if I touch it, but at least the only part of me that's itchy is my sunburnt chest.

Yeah, that Flatliners crowd was brutal. I'm pretty sure I bruised a rib. It probably didn't help that adrenaline kept taking over, so I kept going. It finally stopped hurting yesterday.

All this aside, point is, the original post was a terrible story. Telling about something kind of bad that happened to you usually makes a mediocre story at a minimum, and quite often a decent one. Conversely, the original post described a cruddy experience that nobody even wants to hear about.
