Anybody who's got a party that wants a punk rock band, please hit us up. We'll have a hotel for those nights as well, so we don't need a place to crash, just to play. Check it out: www.myspace.com/moraldecline

If anyone books this band I hope they're ready for a possible fight to break out in their home and even possibly being called jihads or other racial slurs. At least that's what happened last time they played Tallahassee.

Hey, it just so happens there is this big music festival happening that very same weekend in Gainesville. It might be in your interest to apply to play it, although the deadline might already have passed. I hear it is fun.

The reason the fight broke out is because the shady crust punks were stealing beer and merch from the promoter, and we stepped in to stop it. We've been asked back numerous times and nobody has said anything to us. If they ever do, I will happily call the promoter and let you/them speak with him about that night. As for the Jihad comment, I believe Louis referred to someone as a 'jihad looking motherfucker' during the fistfight, but I honestly have no idea who that was or why it was said. We also don't associate with him any longer as he was let go from the band earlier this year due to his unruly behavior. At that point in the night I was trying to load the van with Jeff so we could just get out of there and get some rest. I didn't know most of those kids that night, but that shit definitely got out of hand and I'm sorry if you feel as though our band was in the wrong, but as you know - we will stomp skulls if it comes down to it and someone in our band is physically assaulted, no questions asked. I think most bands would agree they would do the same thing, confusion or none.

So yes, if you have thieves or aggressive crust punks starting shit with us or our crew, be prepared for us to kick the shit out people.

So, would this be your "road crew," your "dogz," or your rowing team?

I'd let you play at my house, but unfortunately, I make my living as a thieving, aggressive crust punk.

And, really, now, who hasn't been a little thieving, aggressive, and crusty before? Certainly not worth stomping skulls over, is it?

Any of those, but we're a drinking team with a rowboat.

Well, we'd rather not deal with thieves, but we've worked with slightly filthy and aggressive cats before with a positive outcome.

These guys are fucking pussy pricks. Whoever helps em out, be ready to deal with a living hell.
Nobody wants to book them, they are pretty well hated wherever they go, and they are mommies little rich kids, despite the fact that they try to portray themselves as gutterpunks.
Fuck these guys, seriously.

Why don't you talk about your experience with the Gang Green tour. Funny shit to be said about that.

Check out their myspace, and just try to guess how many buy ons they have been a part of.

We've never paid one red cent to anyone to book us anywhere, so you're backwards on that one. And the only promoters that have dealt with 'a living hell' are ones that cannot pay the contracted guarantees. And what about the Gang Green tour was funny? Who are you, anyway? You want to throw around insults on a message board but you and I both know that you wouldn't even think about running your mouth off if we were in front of you. If you want to man up and tell us who you are, I'll be more than willing to discuss any particular incidents that pissed you off. And I don't know how a group of guys in their mid-late twenties who all hold full time jobs and are completely self dependent with mortgages and girlfriends/wives/kids can be mommy's little rich kids. We are also the furthest thing from a gutter punk imaginable. It's cool if gutter punks like us or whatever, a lot of people do, but we're too old to be trying to 'fit in' to a certain stereotype. In case you don't know, this is not the same band that existed in 2006. There are no kids in the band and we don't start fights but we will most definitely finish one and have fun doing it if someone crosses the line and swings at us. We ignore the joke of a 'scene' that exists where we're from and make our own rules and do things on our terms our own way. We are well liked all over the country and I have about 16 pages of promoters and clubs that will back us on that, as well as 3 label owners and the president of the Harvest of Hope foundation. We're not scared of any group or anyone, so you can can the toughguy act and be civil or you can keep looking like a jackass. And we're in the works of being elsewhere in the state for Halloween weekend, so you no longer need to worry about us coming up and wrecking the town or some other ridiculous thing made up to try and discourage people from booking us.

I think so, but it escapes me where this was! That name is super familiar, and I'm pretty sure we have, but I know it was before the band changed the lineup a few years ago.

"Contracted guarantees" is the most off-putting thing in the thread for me. :(

I can totally understand why this seems off-putting, but at the same time you've gotta realize that when you are part of a package tour (like the Murphy's Law, Gang Green tours, etc.) there are some agents involved and to make sure that the bands don't end up fucked in the middle of nowhere, they've got to get some sort of payment promise from promoters. Unfortunately, some of those promoters think it's okay to reneg on their agreements and run off with the money they've collected or spend it on drugs before the show ends, and those are the ones that we have the issues with, just like any other band. We don't have a set amount we ask for when we play in Florida - we only have guarantees when we tour or are playing a show as part of a package, and we would never turn down a good show, even if we only make minimal merch sales. All the big bands that play the Fest have WAY bigger guarantees than we do and on top of that, some of them (A Wilhelm Scream, Suicide Machines, Me First, etc.) have contracts that state they can't play any other shows in the STATE within a couple weeks of the event. Hope that helps, though I'm sure it's no less off-putting.
