Hi there! We're The Outsiders from Wellington, New Zealand. You can listen to our tunes here: http://www.myspace.com/bantheoutsiders

We're the first band from New Zealand to ever play Fest and we're really excited to be amongst so many great bands and people for the weekend. We're touring a little before and after Fest so please, spread the word and tell people you know in these towns to come check us out if your not there.

Its not easy coming from one of the most isolated countries in the world playing punk rock and trying to get overseas regularly but we do our best. We've been around Australia a couple of times and played throughout Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, England and Wales last year alongside bands like The Dopamines, Landmines and Mouthbreather. We're supporting Against Me on their New Zealand dates this week, and we've played alongside other great bands like Strike Anywhere, Strung Out, Propaghandi, A Death In The Family, Lagwagon, Horace Pinker...ahh thats enough name dropping for now.
If you feel like us you can buy our self titled EP or Album for cheap here:
http://www.theoutsiders.bandcamp.com/

We fucking love to party to. So if you come see us bring some booze and whatever and we'll love you forever.

I assume you are flying between these two dates because that would be one hell of a drive. You would need to maintain an average speed of 134mph (216km/h) in order to make the drive in 14 hours (assuming you leave LA at midnight and plan to arrive in Jax at 7pm). Good luck Speed Race.

haha The Fest cannonball race ;-) but I know from my flight booking.. if you have a stopover flight, its same price normally if you spend some days at the stopver destination, so I guess tahts what they do...

did you guys play berlin lately, just thinking if I saw you, or wanted to go to a show where you were on and missed you... gooddamn alcohol

heh, thanks for feedback everyone. New Zealand is a lot smaller than the states but we did look at a map once and saw that you guys have different states and stuff..? Weird :D
We will be jetsetting like the hugely rich and famous rockstars we are from L.A to Jacksonville.

We are currently trying to sort out a show in L.A for Tuesday 26th October, if anyone has any ideas please let us know?

yeah we were playing in Berlin in September last year, played with Francesco @ Trickster. Did a couple shows in London in late October last year.

I drummed in Sommerset for a while, the last Europepean tour was amazing! But I play bass in outsiders. Sure we know Face!

We have our album and Ep available for cheap here this week:
http://theoutsiders.bandcamp.com/

And theres some videos and stuff here:
http://www.youtube.com/theoutsiderstv

Party on!

No sorry. Name comes from a few things i guess, theres the S.E Hinton book of course, plus Colin Wilson's book 'The Outsider' which basically describes how certain people/personalities dont get along with many common areas of society.
Then theres the feeling of playing music for years and still being unaccepted, or being an outsider in certain scenes.
Nothing to serious though :D once we get sued we could change our name to Ban The Outsiders.

Got some sweet shows in our tour dates with some great bands!! Cant fucking wait for Fest!
