For absolutely sure. We were too busy being professionals last year to get fucked up together. I think we should reenact that one Sonic Youth video (i know you're old enough to remember this) where the two kids get up on stage at a show, make out, then stagedive into the front row together. I would suggest we swap the making out for a beerbong and the Sonic Youth for D4. I would also accept swapping "a show" for "the holiday inn roof" and "the front row" for "the pool".

Fest is gonna be awesome.

I think I saw that video...washing machine record...never really listened to them after they got on MTV...seemed too 'shoe gazer' and I think I was way into Rancid's Root's Radical EP and Green Day's Kerplunk at the time....fuck...

judging people on anything but their personality alone has never made much sense to me, anyone that i can hang out with and have a good time or just a decent conversation with is cool in my books regardless of looks.

no one in my main group of friends in Gainesville listens to the same music as me (besides the really well known ones like lawrence arms, strike anywhere, etc..) but I still love all of them. hell I don't drink/smoke but I live with a frat guy/ex-drug dealer and 2 weekend alcoholics.

I've been meaning to go down and volunteer at wayward or something to meet some new people though because every conversation I have about The Fest goes along the lines of "yes there is a band called Witches with Dicks, and yeah they are really good" , "no it is not like warped tour and anti-flag is not playing" or my new favorite "no Against Me! is not playing and no D4 is not a mighty ducks movie"

and now I get to go sit in my production lab where somehow people still don't understand the concept of white balance or manual focus
