You should start following Aberdeen, Jeremy. You'd enjoy it no end. It's character building.

So, first day of the new season, and we're top of the league. Our new captain, Paul Hartley (who has a beard that wouldn't be out of place at Fest), scored a hat trick of penalties and we won 4-0!

1st day of the season and st pauli won 3:1 in Freiburg.. two last minute goals and like the first little step to stay in the league.. first victory on a foreign field - not a bad thing to start the season

right now we are third.. doubt I will see that pciture again this year... as long as we stay in the 1st division everything is fien.. first 3 points... last year 32 would have been enough to keep it

We won't last too long in our newfound lofty position either, but hey, it's fun while it lasts!

I was reading about St. Pauli, sounds like my kind of club.
I don't particularly care for English football so maybe i'll support them!

I don't particularly care for English football so maybe i'll support them! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-kl93Husv0this a english documentary video like 4 years old when they were still 3rd league with an avergae of 15K fans, with a league average of <2K attendence... one of the st pauli ultras: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1A2r8vsE ... re=relatedand i love this one, from a indoor tourmanment.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUEwZxcjkPY .. its one of their main anthems and the lyrics are something like "we are ticks , antisocial ticks, sleeping under bridges or at railway mission" ticks = that little animal living of blood, with is used as a bad word for leftwing punks, mainly by rednecks , nazis and other scum

I think 99% of the People on this board from the US don't even know this country exists in Europe... and with around 35K it has even what - 1/4 of the population of gainesville?

There was more people at the game (37k) than there is in all of Liechtenstein (35k). It was absolutely ridiculous. They went 1-0 up though so it could have been worse! Their best ever win was against the mighty Luxembourg. Our winning goal came with literally the last kick (well, header) of the ball in the 97th minute. Thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if we beat Spain next month. It's odd being a Scotland fan.
