Spam is worse than usual right now, but not as bad as it has been before.
Usually each spammer will make 2 or 3 posts, then vanish. Right now we've got one account that makes a TON of threads, and keeps coming back a few times a day. Plus a couple that are similar, but not quite as active. Normally this spam-bot would just get banned, but PJ is on tour.
Although this spam is actually easier to clean up than normal, because it mostly all stays in one sub-forum.

Yeah I've taken out shit loads this week already. I logged in just before going to sleep last night and cleared about 15 posts but as I was clearing them, new ones were already being posted and as I was so tired I gave up!
I've messaged Peej about a couple of the posters but he's on tour until the 23rd I think. If anyone has his email or phone number and wants to tell him to quickly log in and delete username: Bestlepa then it would make things a lot easier!
For now though I think this area of the forum is gonna be a bit of a no go!

I'd like a thread where I just talk to myself when Im bored at work, Kellys bored at work journal. a bit like now. my post count has fallen dramatically since not festing last year, perhaps I could comment with 'lol' everytime someone says something hmm

I'm waiting for the official final poster/line-up to be released before I wanna get super-gushy about who I want to see.. *edit - just saw the photo of it in another thread, will squint some more. has anyone started a "big UK festers meet-up" thread yet? if not, I hope it's still gonna happen in Mothers

It pretty much happens naturally now. Plus there's so many Brits there these days you get to the point where you don't want to meet any more.

But now I'm so far away, (you and Mrs Kenny excluded) I never see anyone the rest of the time so bumping into them all will be fresh and interesting. For a bit.. maybe
