I've a mate who's been over five or six times is coming back to me with the name of a place later, i'll post here when i find out. If there's four of us we could just get a four bed dorm somewhere to ourselves, would be the job.

I just messaged my mate to see if we can cancel but no reply yet. Yeah, keep us posted on what you come up with. Maybe a four bed dorm would work out better.

I'm flying Heathrow to JFK with Virgin, then Newark to Gainesville with Delta (think we gotta change planes somewhere), then Gainesville back to Newark with Delta and Newark to Heathrow with Virgin again.
Booked the internal flight direct through Delta over the phone as had problems with the website.
Where you flying from?

i'm flying heathrow to newark with American Airlines and then JFK to gainesville with delta i think and then orlando to heathrow.
came to around 380-90 quids.
I've only paid a fifteen pounds deposit on my room so if there's the idea of sharing a dorm give us a shout.

Shit! I didn't realise I could have flown Delta from JFK! Oh well, too late now I guess.
I just heard from my mate that we've only paid $30 deposit for our room so we me may just let them keep it and book elsewhere. If anyone has any good suggestions then let us know.

i haven't booked mine yet but i think i'm going to take the same route as you. how are you getting to orlando and on what day are you going?
so far best deal ive found is 219quid for the atlantic flights and then 114 bucks for the new york to gainesville one. think i better book them soon before they go.
see you guys in new york, sounds like theres a fair few shows going on. i knw some friends of friends who are going to new york first too to especially to see some bands but i cant remember for the life of me who they were, i'll try find out.

Jesus, a coach to orlando? That's about fifteen to twenty hours! I got return flights to orlando from newark with continental for about $150 or so.
Accomodation: I'm looking at the chelsea hostelright now, people speak highly of it, and a double room (two single beds) is about $70 a night (which is cheap by anyone's standards), seeing as we're all arriving and leaving different days, i dunno if we could all get a room together. People say the chelsea is a cool hangout spot all the same, and seems easily accessable so... I dunno, i'm still waiting to hear back from the mate about the place he was so i'm booking nothing yet.

I take your point on the difficulties of us all getting one room. If we were all arriving together it would be easy but I think it may have been more trouble than it's worth what with the different dates etc. Looks like my mate has got us into a different hostel anyway. I'll go and check with him and get the name and post again.
