I miss the old small Reggae Shack. On my 21st b-day during whatever Fest that was I got all my food free, and cake, and a bunch of red stripe, it was great. I think I've only gone maybe 3 times since it's reopened.

main problem with Reggae Shack is that you better be willing to wait up to an hour even for the smallest of orders, it's like they just forget about stuff sometimes

I don't know man, I feel like the wait time got longer, the service got less friendly, and the prices went up. I miss the old Shack.

Arpita or Omar have always made a point to talk to us when they're there. Jason and I once got seated, served, and ate so fast that as we walked out the door Arpita came running out behind us thinking we left because we hadn't been greeted yet.

Book Lover's Cafe is only a couple of blocks from the Holiday Inn, and is all veg, lots of vegan. Not super cheap but reliable food which feels a bit more healthy than yet another vegan version of regular fast food. Smells like old books with a top note of hippie.

And coffee ice cubes in their iced coffee. Can't fuck with that.

Will you be in downtown Orlando or out on International Drive? When we were staying on International Drive last year, veggie / vegan food was almost non-existent. We asked in one place and they said "err, we have brocolli?"

Ah, well in that case, I can only wish you good luck! (And tell you to avoid the veggie burger in Chili's! It did not get a good reaction from our veggie friend last year.)
