Yeah, this past year seemed to have some of the harsher conflicts. Ideally, the same style of music should be had at all times throughout all days. Not so much to keep one demographic entertained, but to avoid conflicts. I think it was Sunday of last year that I decided to just sleep in late and go sit down and eat somewhere because there were only like 2 bands I wanted to see that day.

yeah, I had a BIG gap in the middle of Sunday last year, but Friday night had like 4 bands playing at the same time I wanted to see.

Just had another idea. I believe it was last year that Defiance, Ohio had schedule slots at both Common Grounds AND The Kickstand. Maybe more bands could have two official time slots.
hell, last year, with house shows, acoustic shows, and pre-fest shows, I saw a bunch of bands twice. Might be nice if that kind of flexibility was built into the schedule.

Have you met the bands that play the Fest? They're usually barely sober enough to play their one set. But that would definitely help.

But that would definitely help. they always make it to play a house show as well... it can make sense for some bands.. but normally I would support to give the spot to a band that otherwise can't play.. f.e. Astpai were just hanging around last year and couldnt play..

I'll say this about CG's...the last time I was there, the cabinet with all the SNK games was gone. Weak weak weak.
