Sooooo I'm thinking about flying into Orlando on Wednesday the 27th to check out the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Does anyone else want to bask in the geeky glory of this place? A giant castle, shops straight out of the books, magic wands, epic rides, and even Butterbeer! Potter fans assemble!

I wanted to go until I found out the lines were beyond ridiculous. Hour long waits just to get into the area that serves butter beer, then you have to wait again to get your butter beer. I think I'll wait until next year for it to die down a bit.

I seriously thought about going to this instead...but..I mean, I've been wanting to go to the Fest for the past 4 years now. Maybe next year when all the excitement and lines die down. and i cant wait to chug some of that butterbeer.

A couple of Aussies and I were talking about going to Universal Studios before Fest...I wasn't aware that the Harry Potter World was there...might have to wait a year. Disney World instead?

HHN is only fun really if you go with people who get scared easy, I spend most of my time laughing at them

in saying that though, i love being scared. hence the love of HHN.

It was amazing. They went into so much detail. When you do go definitely take the time to do everything.

I'll be spending Fest weekend at Universal Studios, Halloween Horror Nights, Islands of Adventure and Magic Kingdom. Have to get all my festing done at pre-fest. Should be an awesome long weekend of birthday celebrating.
