How much did you splurge last year? Excluding boring stuff like flights and hotel, I mean on the essential stuff like food and beer.

About $800, but that includes a lot of records and other bits and pieces. You'd be hard pushed to spend that on beer and food for just yourself.

I think I spent around 100 dollars...I guess I'm the cheap one here. I bought 2 shirts and 3 CDs...and then food. No beer or anything like that...5 dollar beers don't seem all that attractive to me.

I think I spent pretty the best part of $100 a day for the three days of actual Fest. That covered a bunch of CDs and one shirt (I think), one decent-ish meal to start me off then a couple of pizza slices throughout the day, and my own bodyweight in PBR / Common Grounds punch.

I remember at Fest 7 I barely spent any money.
Last year, I spent a bit more on merch.
I barely drink during Fest though. Get my highs from stage dives.

I spent about $100 on just merch and food (I don't drink) plus gas money driving from Miami to Gainesville.

The only time I ever spend more than $2 on a beer is if I'm feeling fancy and venture to Stubbies.

I actually never tried to buy a beer at a Fest venue, so I don't know how much they run. I'm just going on past experience at shows and sports events and such.
