Got plagued by Fest Aids from roughly two weeks to about a month.

I also suffered from massive head injury due to one fat body surfer during Snuff that stage dived on top of me and a small girl. This basically crushed my head on the Venue floor. Then during Samiam during the encore set, somebody jumped off the stage and smashed my face in.

Staph Infection and Fest aids for 3 weeks. Can't wait to come back.

I'm pretty sure I got a concussion real late Sunday night last year.

I somehow managed to not get sick last year. Which, is amazing since I was Festing for over week due to the high number of friends who flew into Chicago before Fest for the Lawrence Arms 10th Anniversary Show and Red Oktober Fest...I was fall down drunk for 5 days before Fest...I was dead on Sunday, but after working off a two day hang over, I felt great and went to a job interview.

Not sure if it counts but I had such an awful migraine that manifested all day Saturday last year, and got so bad I had to go back to the hotel and miss a good chunk of the bands I wanted to see Saturday night. Ugh.

Fest 7 I had a terrible allergic reaction to something and was miserable, again most of Saturday night.


I have a tendency to get sick DURING Fest, again not really sure if that counts as Fest AIDS.

i had the worst bad stomach during the saturday night warehouse show i was seriously close to finding somewhere to...relieve my pain. i think it was my diet of pizza, sparks and pbr that did it.

but apart from that all i got was the crippling depression that hit on the way home.

Last year I was clearly not thinking, I had been offered a job 2 days before Fest and when they asked when I could start I stupidly requested monday right after Fest. WORST FIRST DAY EVER. I was sick for so long, I think I got better right before Harvest of Hope just to get sick again right after. Has to be the worst part about the Fest although everytime I coughed I just remembered how great of a time I had.

Avoided Fest AIDS last year, or so I thought until the Menzingers brought it with them to Normal two or three days later, what a wonderful gift they brought me. dicks
