This thread is kind of annual event now, I suppose.

I'm Kenny from Glasgow in Scotland. This year will be my 4th Fest. Some friends and I do a DIY gigs collective here and we've put on loads of Fest bands over the years (if you're coming to the UK and you're a Fest-type band, give us a shout).

Here's me (on the right) and Chason. I'm wearing the tshirt I had just got for drinking the whisky wall at Mothers pub. Looking forward to seeing what challenges they have this year.

I'm Dan Sapp, and this will be my 5th Fest. If you see me, I'll be awkwardly drunk and you may feel uncomfortable after we talk, but I will give you a beer though!

Chason running around the lobby of the new (pretty nice) Hampton Inn in nothing but a thong and a sailor's hat last year was special. We saw a just-married bride in tears just outside the front door later that day.

my name's Chewy! this isn't my first Fest. i'm one half of the duo, Chewy and the naked guy. i like to go to Gainesville for the food mostly. i'm gonna get wasted on Judy Garlands all weekend.

Hi I'm Katie and I'm from Orlando but now live in Chicago. Well this year will be my first Fest. Every other year was a lame "maybe I'll go I'll just figure it out later" then plane tickets from Chicago got too expensive. Not this year though, my ass is gonna make it and drink a shit load of beer and whiskey. The End.

Oh if anyone has good advice on where to stay that would be awesome.
