Most of the other boards I post on are specific to a band.

well, that just inspired me. I just installed TouchBB. You can download the App from the App Store. Just search for TouchBB, there is a free version and a $0.99 version. Not sure how big the difference in yet. But you can now use the App to view/post to the board from your iPhone. I installed the program on the Fest Board, the No Idea board and the Harvest of Hope board. You can now waste time while on the go. http://www.noidearecords.com/board/http://www.harvestofhopefest.com/board/

i post at all previously mentioned boards. I knew about all the boards i post at before i even had an iPhone, Nick. i don't need an app to be an interweb master of networking.

No Idea Harvest of Hope (last year it was a mix of people from this board and people who are stoked on Girl Talk, everyone is friendly though) besides that I'm usually either on digg or I geek out on some visual fx / video websites

Angela wrote: I also post on http://www.punktastic.com/forums/ as do a lot of the other UK Fest board posters, I think. I also post on here regularly (as you know!) but I don't think it would be of much interest to those outside the UK unless they were planning a visit. There's an 'advertise your gig' section which is fantastic for finding out about UK DIY shows (particularly in the South) but the message board as a whole covers anything that vaguely comes under the term punk so you'll get as much if not more chat about Paramore and the death of Michael Jackson as you will about the lastest No Idea releases so it may not be an ideal place for most people that post on here! It does have a massive Fest thread every year though!

Also, I'll only lock this board if activity dies way down and spam picks way up. In previous years activity dwindled and the board just became a mess of spam posts that became a big hassle to delete everyday. Last year the Fest 7 board stayed active until the Fest 8 board was ready. I think there was just a few days of downtime in between to move a few things around. So, if you guys continue to use this board during the off-season I don't see any reason to have to shut it down.
