..that is, if you did?

Maybe I'm just getting older but numerous times during the weekend, I found myself being quite lethargic at the lack of sleep and running around so much. I found that drinking some Emergen-C helped this quite a bit as did the obvious, coffee.

Somehow, despite this, I don't have Fest AIDS *crossing fingers*.

For any of us who actually DID get tired or exhausted during the weekend, how did you combat it? Do you ignore it? Did it prevent you from wanting to see any bands you wanted?

PS - I should also qualify that I don't drink, so alcohol was not an option for me, though I imagine for many others it was!

i found that making sure I eat is most important to keep going and to drink lots of water.

schedule food breaks even if you have to miss bands, and eat something nicer than Five Star. Flacos is great, and centrally located.

I also saw plent of low-key acoustic acts, to balance it out.

and coffee coffee coffee.

I had Fest AIDS pretty bad, but I had surgery that following Friday. So being hooked up to an iV, hardcore drugs, and oxygen flushed Fest AIDS right out of me. I was lucky....haha. But during Fest I brought a huge box of emergenC for all of my Spanish Gamble friends and all the people I traveled with. It seemed to work..

What kind of punk rock thread is this anyway? I cured my fatigue with cigarettes and murder.

Flacos was key for fast good food between sets.

I drank beer all day/night, ate nothing but fast food, drank hardly any water, and slept an avg of 4 hours per night. How I didn't end up with full blown Fest-Aids blows my mind. I credit those delicious dollar burgers from Checkers and a 2 pack/day habit.

Dying is the most punk thing you can do, don'tcha know?

Food is one of the main important things for me during Fest. Scheduling times to sit down and actually eat rather than fast food... Reggae Shack and Boca Fiesta were my places of choice for that this year. Though I did eat at Gator Dawgs a few times and that surprisingly helped too.
