felt like a retard each time

I had a great weekend and saw a lot of people from the board.. a couple of ones, came up to me due to my picture, incl. "Der Englaender" and also met chason and jana, who I didnt get to know last year... Chewy and Philip were so nice giving me rides from and to the warehouse on saturday, I met Josh more than once at front of the stage singing along, there were three brits, that were pretty much our shadow from wednesday on in orlando ( i seriously ran into them around 30 times).. the only bummer was that dave needed to work all he time - I think we just had one beer together

I had a lot of fun with a couple of the bands as well, especially menzingers, red city radio and turkish techno that seemed to be all over the place.. damn - was nothing but a great weekend

My wife and I got smashed into by an 18-wheeler 20 miles outside of Gainesville, we were ok, but our dear vehicle needs some pretty major repairs!! I was relieved that it happened so close though, as if it had happened earlier in the trip, I don't know if we would have been able to get towed so far. A nice body shop made it driveable and we pulled back into Canada after a 21 hour drive exhausted, but happy!

Gainesvilleians, you have a beautiful city with happy business owners who deserve your support! Kudos to the fine folks at the Paramount for knocking off over half of our very expensive long-distance bills we were forced to incur in order to deal with insurance garbage (NOT the way we had anticipated spending any time of our first vacation together!) Also big thumbs up to the friendly faces at Karma Cream who saw us so much that they eventually learned our order. Basically, we were greeted with friendly faces everywhere, and it was really nice to feel that comraderie, coming from a city where there isn't much of that.

The Measure was the number 1 reason I wanted to go, and they didn't disappoint. My wife asked Lauren to play 'The Moment You Said Yes" for our anniversary, and they happily obliged. This made my life!!

Small Brown Bike was amazing. American Steel/Shook Ones/Dear Landlord/Good Luck/Liquid Limbs/The Bomb/Wormburner were my favorite sets.

See you next year!!

I very briefly saw a ton of people from the board. had nice talks with Berrie and K80, both from NY (not at the same time though). And I hung out with a bunch of people who I don't think post on the board, Lester from newcastle, England, a couple guys who I later found out were in Red City Radio. Lot's of good conversation in lines.

good hang out time with Jeremy, Kai, Chason, Gully, Mark (harkgirls's man), my buddy Eric who came with me, Cody (from another board), Pete from Protagonist, dudes from CIS, HOTW, AWS, Cheap Girls, and more.

I drank more at this Fest than any previous Fest, but was still only ever drunk for an hour or two on Sunday afternoon. Then my girlfriend came to meet me and we got pizza. She came out to a few of the shows and had a blast, even though punk isn't really her thing, but she loves the Cheap Girls, and really enjoyed The Measure.

I went to the Failsafe Warehouse a couple of nights, and a punk house in the SE part of town on Sunday night. Also went to the Pre-Fest to see Panthro UK United 13. There were 5 bands that I got to see twice. A couple bands I had never heard, but bought CDs from.

BArrie actually, haha, but no matter, common mistake! Great to meet you finally Phillip! you're an awesome dude.

Great to meet you too Jana finally as well! I'm glad Chason introduced us at Market Street.

I love that song, so glad you made them play it. They even said right before "we never play this song"

and Karma Cream rules. I shoulda gone there to get some late night coffee.

It really did go by too fast this year. Time flies when you're having fun I guess.

Measure, Cheap Girls, and Cheeky were the highlights of my weekend. What an amazing time it was.

I had a wristband that I got from Crime in Stereo but for some reason did not attend any shows. We went to the Warehouse show for CIS which ruled. My bike survived and so did my boyfriend but we were most likely the drunkest people there. Saturday day we just hung out in the Kickstand parking lot drinking (if you went by we were hard to miss). Met 2 black ladies with their faces painted. Passed out near a dumpster. My white V neck quickly turned into a grey one, Met a Canadian named Johnny and I ripped my pink grips on my bike. That weekend ruled.

I'm surprised you even had to ask.
