I saw tons of old friends and new ones all weekend long. I think we all need rest, let the stories start tomorrow.

I did see lots of other Fest boarders that I know and finally met some that I hadn't yet. So man that I can't even remember/list them all.

A big THANK YOU for everyone who bought me a beer or offered to.

It's funny. I got down on Thursday and woke up the next morning thinking "Shit, it hasn't even really started yet".


Next time I had a chance to sit down and analyze the situation, it was Sunday night and I was packing my stuff up.

All I did yesterday was sleep. On the plane, and after my friends left my house till early this afternoon.


Philip is correct, we all need a day or two to recover.

I very briefly saw a ton of people from the board. had nice talks with Berrie and K80, both from NY (not at the same time though). And I hung out with a bunch of people who I don't think post on the board, Lester from newcastle, England, a couple guys who I later found out were in Red City Radio. Lot's of good conversation in lines.

good hang out time with Jeremy, Kai, Chason, Gully, Mark (harkgirls's man), my buddy Eric who came with me, Cody (from another board), Pete from Protagonist, dudes from CIS, HOTW, AWS, Cheap Girls, and more.

I drank more at this Fest than any previous Fest, but was still only ever drunk for an hour or two on Sunday afternoon. Then my girlfriend came to meet me and we got pizza. She came out to a few of the shows and had a blast, even though punk isn't really her thing, but she loves the Cheap Girls, and really enjoyed The Measure.

I went to the Failsafe Warehouse a couple of nights, and a punk house in the SE part of town on Sunday night. Also went to the Pre-Fest to see Panthro UK United 13. There were 5 bands that I got to see twice. A couple bands I had never heard, but bought CDs from.

I met several guys in a group on Thursday night at 1982 that all knew who I was from lurking this board but that never post here. it was kind of creepy and flattering all at once.

I saw you while at CG Friday I think it was you anyway. I'm pretty sure you were there for 2 bands? but you always seemed to be in a group of like 4 people so I never came up and said anything. Awkward situations are the worst.

The only other person I saw was dystopia I recognized him while he was doin his thing on stage catching crowd surfers during LTJ.

I'm REALLY friendly I swear. And i understand social awkwardness. i had so many friends over the weekend at the Fest and even in some of the bands that were dealing with bad anxiety. Too many people.

i'm not saying you're unfriendly. Just saying i'm not gonna walk up while you're chitchatting with 4-5 people and be like HAY gurlll I know you from the Fest Forums! ya kno.
