I know there has already been a handful of posts on rides from Orlando to G'ville but I thought I might throw my name into the mix. Here's my want ad with some background info.

Fest 7 was my first Fest experience and it was a blast. If anyone remembers a guy passed out in the parking lot, sleeping on a 12 pack, while BTMI was playing than that was me. Apparently people were taking my beer as I slept.

Anyhow, all (3) of my punk friends bailed on me this year and I really want to go to the Fest, but don't want to go Han Solo. I haven't bought a ticket yet or secured a place to stay, but I'm not too worried about that (unless it sales out).

About Me: I live and work in Orlando. I got my edumencation from FSU and went to high school in Jacksonville. I'm a male, married, no kids, but I have a Boston Terrier puppy. I'm 28 and fairly normal when I'm sober. I look like every other middle class white guy. No tats or otherwise distinguishable "punk" characteristics and therefore don't fall into any of the categories over at yourscenesucks. I have been told that I look like a young version of the English doctor from the show House. My Fantasy Football team is 2-3 and I like to drink, but don't smoke...unless it turns from green to black.

So long story long, I'm looking for some people to ride up with, and possibly crash with while at the Fest. I have very reliable transportation. My band list is fairly typical of any punknews reader and I have included a list of the bands I would want to see based on the schedule, below. Ideally I would like to leave on Friday morning and then return either Sunday early evening or on Monday.

I have room for 2 maybe 3 people needing a ride. I arrive at Orlando Intl at 1115pm on Thursday and depart Monday at 230pm.

Me and a friend would greatly appreciate to take those two spots. I assume that when you say you depart at 2:30 that means you will arrive by noon or so right?
