I'm going to the Fest solo as well, I'm flying out from Victoria British Columbia, Canada most likely. Still kind of not sure if I'm going yet... I kind of want to get my sleeping arrangement locked down.

Ok, so I'm gonna be bringing a big ol stack of name tags to the market street pub and handing them out to anyone who wants them to put your screen name/real name/ nickname/ whatever the fuck you want on it.
I figured it would be a fun way to get to know more people.

ill be rollin solo as of now...trying to get a group to come up. a "lady friend" of mine lives there, so maybe ill hang with her, but i doubt shes going to partake in any of the shows.

so yeah, ill be that kid in the corner all alone [hopefully not]. say hi.

I'll be going solo for the 2nd year. I usually see some people i know, but for the most part i do my own thing. It'd be nice to meet a few people from this board for a drink before the festivities happen at night.

I'm rolling on my own again this year. Last year, on Saturday morning, I joined in on a kickball game across the street from the Holiday Inn that was pretty awesome. I'm hoping for more craziness like that this year.

Will be solo and will be my first Fest, will be meeting up with some other Aussies but would be cool to meet locals and other Fest goers from around the world

My first Fest this year..... so stoked for it. going solo.... got flights and tickets booked.... as for the rest. i got no idea, guess ill see when i get there. hope i can find a place to stay.

Whats up fellow solo Festers! This will be my first Fest and I'm hoping to make some new friends on the trip! I will be coming from the 301, that's western Maryland. I'm currently ironing out my travel/stay plans at the moment. Hopefully I can meet some cool, like-minded people on this board. This will be my 4th Fest, but may be my first one flying solo since my usual Fest friends are all married or driving big rigs and shit this year.

I'll have a hotel room at my usual top secret good deal spot so if I do end up going by myself, I might entertain the idea of splitting the room with any cool, fun and uncreepy people.

My boy Sawtooth would probably vouch for me, too.

So is anything set in concrete as far as meeting up at registration or at a bar?
If not I would volunteer to wear a white shirt with something on it like a heart or someshit. Anyway this is my second Fest, and im more excited than i was last year!
