Where's a nice place to eat right downtown in the middle of all the action? I need a place to relax for as long a can get away with on Thursday morning.

The Top - N Main St opposite the Atlantic. Does pretty decent food as far as I can remember. Leonardos on W University also does huge slices of pizza which are good.

Emiliano's is good, but not super cheap. That's downtown.
Loosely around the intersection of 13th street and University Ave is a lot of good food. NW on 13th is Burrito Bros, El Indio, and Books Cafe (Vegan and veggie) to name a few. Right next to Books Cafe is Mother Earth which is a grocery store. Further out, in the opposite dirtection on 13th Street (Headed SW, not walking distance) are a lot of places. CHOPSTICKS is recommended. It's on a lake and serves reasonably priced pan-asian quisine.
Gainesville is set up on a grid. Main Steet is basically zero Street. University Ave is basically zero Ave. S 13th St is 13 blocks from Main Street, 11 blocks from S 2nd Ave (the street Side Bar and Common Grounds are on).

Checkers and Taco Bell are pretty much right across the street from Wayward, and Wing Zone is right up the block...in case you want cheap stuff.

Also on Univ Ave, between Common Grounds and Wayward: Reggae Shack. After Wayward on Univ Ave, headed towards 13th: CARRIBEAN SPICE. Cheap, good.
