Where would a good place to park a small RV for the weekend? Hopefully close to Common Grounds. Thanks!

What do you think the take would be if we slept in a car in the parking garage? This is my first year.

The Holiday does have a parking garage so you might be able to park in there temporarily. Also, there is meter parking on the south side of University Avenue, eat of 13th St. It is a maximum of two hours I believe. Northwest of the corner of University and 13th is predominantly neighborhood decal parking but there are a couple of meters on NW 14th St.
Make sure you do not park in a business' lot and run to the Holiday Inn. Towing companies are complete assholes here and will tow you in a heartbeat.

Thanks.. last year I just park at holiday inn, but I heard somebody got towed here? and there was a lady from holiday inn running around the cars all the time, so I thought I rather park somewhere else and walk a couple of blocks, also its probably hard for them to figure out if somebody is checking in the hotel or just at registration..

Last year I managed to snag a parking spot at the Holiday Inn during registration and my car was fine. This year I'll probably get dropped off while the rest go to the hotel or something.

I imagine i'll probably park at the McDonalds and walk over to registration.. if my car is towed i'll just pick up some food inside for the receipt and say i was inside lol. I would imagine that would work anyway.

I'm not sure what time you all are planning on registering, but you can park at any lot on campus after 4:30 and just walk to registration. After 4:30 on friday they won't be ticketing until monday morning.
Is this a terrible idea?
