I just started learning to play guitar. Now I want to make it my goal to play Fest 10.
There's no way I could be ready for Fest 8. Fest 9 is possible, but I want to be a little more realistic. Especially since I'm probably graduating in May 2010. So I can continue to learn guitar while in school, then start my band right after graduation (already got at least one like-minded friend in my guitar teacher). That gives me roughly a year to get a demo ready to sumbit for Fest in 2011.

There are always acoustic after-fest party moments to play at Fest 8.

While I support this idea, and wish I could be part of it, I don't think I'd be of any help unless you need some Moog action...and, anyways I'm Moogless at the moment.
I've been thinking of getting a friend of mine to teach me to play guitar though...I should get on that.
