Kinda overwhelming.

I'm probably going to need to hook up with one of you guys to get general pointers, at least Friday.

I've never been and i feel like you junkies waiting for there fix.

So Excited!

I'm pretty sure there was talk of a Fest board meet-up this year...Thursday? At a restaurant called...Chopsticks...or something? Anyone else remember discussing this? Food would be eating, drinks drunk and pointers given.

Honestly, most of the fun of Fest is running around with no plan, catching what you can. At least that was my experience.

I must have missed that. I only remember Var telling us that got stuck in the elevator with him that we'd have a Chopstix dinner together when we got out.

Chopstix might be out of the price range of most Fest attendees.

Market St. has cheap food and cheap beer.

drew - don't worry, the few things you need to know you'll find out... and if you keep on being at the board, you'll know most people here and run into them at the Fest... remember one moment outside common grounds where I think dave, giveblood,, somekindofrobot, chewy, josh, pukeonthestreet, me and some more just were standing together - you'll meet the Fest boarders all the time.. otherwise look out for the Fest sex button!

Yup. That totally happened, sorta...I don't remember who was all there, or what we were even doing out Common Grounds, but its true. Shit like that happens. More around Fest time, there'll be contact info exchange threads and "post your pic so we know what you look like and can say 'hey" threads and shit like that.

I see we're going to have to come to blows to settle this, Silveira. May I suggest Market St Pub on the Wednesday before Fest as an appropriate venue.

Despite going to Tampa and missing this last year I still think it sounds like the best thing ever! Even the name is brilliant!

I decline the venue
what you need to do is just come a week early so we can all enjoy mug night (or just stay after the Fest until Wednesday)
and tampa is BYOB!

after listening to Kenny and Sarah blab repeatedly about Fest for the last couple of years, i'm almost certainly hitting Fest for the first time this year also, to bump up the Scottish Fest-ers contingent.

Waaay, it's Lou. Tim, it's well fantastic. I'll definitely be bringing my mug purchased last year back this year. Jeremy, I'm also tempted to take you up on part of that plan, staying on in GNV to go to mug night post-Fest - but only so I can go to mug night twice! :D

I'm actually a little disappointed it took this long. There's only 5 months to go now.
