it does seem early, but whatev. CG wants to close up so they can go home and watch Golden Girls at 11 or something like that.

hahaha.

Their entire tour has consisted of early shows, so you can bet it will be. They do that for the kiddos, supposedly.

Now I officially know more than I care to about all of this.

so if AWS goes on at 9:10, that means Streetlight Manifesto wouldn't be going on until at least 10, so the show wouldn't get out until close to midnight.

I'm busy tonight anyway. Wish i could see both those bands though.

My con failed.

I wanted everyone to come see The Swellers. Losers.

And Jana - the show did start on time.

it was good, saw the swellers, A willhelm scream and streetlight. AWS rocked their faces off, and the swellers played a good show despite the singer being sick. SM rocked a long set, too. hung out with dystopia and tony(Fest tony) for a bit. sorry i couldn't find anyone else.

the swellers were great. aws was ridiculous. stayed for a couple songs from SM, and they were better than i thought, but lol @ me staying out late on a work night for a ska band.

saw janeen, said what's up to dave, and that was about it.

lol, janeen told me to keep my eyes peeled for sharkie - she said he was wearing a flannel shirt and a hat lol.

got a bunch of great photos/vids from the show last night, check them out at www.heckyeah-man.blogspot.com

i thought the old people you said you brought would be a dead give-away until I saw all the parents of the under-18 kids. ugh. they were sitting in the back playing brick breaker and being middle-aged. it was depressing. sorry we couldn't bro out.

dave's a cool cat, moshed the shit out of those adolescents. :D

I was walking near the parking garage on the way in and a cute little Mom asked me where Common Grounds was, with a concerned look on her face.

Aw. Lots of good parents!
