I hope there are a lot of scrawny, wimpy hipsters who read about Fucked Up in NME or Pitchfork, or wherever hipsters get their opinions from these days. Then Fucked Up will just be fast and nasty and mosh pits and beer and blood everywhere.

I know their Myspace isn't run by the band but the calendar tour info is wrong for Jan 27th. It say Sluggo’s Pensacola, Florida.

Anyway, I sent them the correct info. Hope it is just a typo or old info.

i might be up there on the 27th for this. i've listened to most of their stuff (barring the most recent full length and a couple 7''s) and the show as a whole is pretty solid.

lots of jocking of this band. never heard though. may have to check them out.

seriously, I know a ton of people who should love Fucked Up, and need to check them out. Jeremy included. They manage to combine being nasty, stupid, dangerous, heavy old school hardcore, with some high-level concepts and subtle artsy touches.

You can listen to the same songs one time and just concentrate on all the little touches of composition and the peotry of the lyrics, then listen to the same song again and just get fucking stoked on being young, angry, and trashing.
