Pink Drink?

Well, you all have an awesome holiday whatever it is you are doing. Today I drive to Gville to pick up my brother, then to Tampa. Downing advil all the way for my back (it hates road trips).

ive been thinking of passing by TIFY Fest on monday, but the only bands i'd wanna see are florida bands. so $15 doesnt seem so worth it, plus i dont think i could stand a DAY'S worth grind/d-beat

Yup, right there with you. I should be at a grind show tonight but my friend playing never replied to my text I sent this morning asking when it was. Seems I have flaky friends everywhere. I knew the luck of finding an awesome show Xmas night was too good to be true.

Saw you and chew at that show. Apologies for not saying hi or anything. Great fucking show. I'd never seen radon live. I didn't get back into Miami (where i was staying) until 5am but it was all worth it.

things by went pretty close to plan.... for about the first half of new year's eve it seemed like i was going to Atlanta to see HWM but it fell through in the last hour and i went with my original plan and saw the Measure and went to CG for the countdown.

orlando didn't happen because the show was cancelled

and i almost got arrested in Miami because of a bottle of whiskey and a lonely stove, but i smooth talked my way out of that.

2009?

New Years was queit this year for me. My fiance and I were going to go see This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, but ended up staying in and sharing a bottle of champagne instead. It was nice.

I look forward to coming to home and starting 2009 proper by going to see The Measure and celebrating my birthday. And then going back to school...yay...

Eh, I'm in the same boat. My fiance and I have watched 3 seasons of The X Files in the last week. We'd probably be on 5 by now, but I only brought the first three on our trip.
