I would go to that. They probably drink mead out of horns. Which is on my list of things to do before I die.

My dad just started keeping bees this year. His first batch was like 10 gallons of honey. We're definitely gonna make some mead, now we just gotta find horns to drink out of.

homemade mead is usually 2 or 3 times stronger than any mead you can buy in the store.

Make some for Fest next year.

You can do this at a renaissance festival too, I did. No wait that was probably just something nonalcoholic, I was in HS. And I brought my own horn to drink out of (no lie). But yeah, betting you could take care of that there Josh.

i love metal. i would love to say something relevant to promote this thread, but alas i am neither relevant nor useful.

a little context for those who don't follow the funny pages, specifically Doonesbury- Toggle is a young Iraq war vet. he's got some brain damage. Aphasia to be exact, which means his thought process is fine, but his motor skills (like the ability to speak) are all shot to hell. He spent the week's worth of strips prior to this one talking excitedly in his broken speech about how awesome the new GNR album is.


I'm not sure if the line "METAL IS PTSD" is atctually a reference to "black metal ist kreig" but it cracked me up.

also disappointed no one liked my black metal filing cabinet. Which I admit I stole from a Fest-person's myspace bulletin. So maybe you'd all seen it before.
