my turntable is far from a hi-fi set up, but I feel it could benefit from a nicer needle.
got any reccomendations on where to look in Gville? I know there's that tiny place on University Blvd, I've heard mixed reports on them.

Sharpe's Music on University Ave near the corner of 34th is where I bought my last record player from. The guy who run's it is super nicer and if you like Jazz music he's got a huge selection and he always seems to be out of Sam Cooke unfortunately.
Don't know if he sells just needles though, wouldn't surprise me.
There is also Hyde and Zeke's I would recommend calling him up and asking, although every time I go there I walk out with a great random punk LP. last time I found some old Radon 7"

Ya know, the owner of H&Z complained that he hardly got any business this Fest. This surprises me.
Sorry Philip - I dunno.

Sorry Philip - I dunno. he's kind of out of the way of all The Fest stuff, Wayward is right in the heart of all of it and Sharpe's is across from the Hotel but unless you know where is place is I can't see how out of towners would go run into him.

How about a good place to order a quality needle for cheap online. I REALLY need one but have very little $$$. I usually buy $50 needles but just can't do that right now.
