Is there anyone who would like to split a six pack of quality beer with me whenever I go to shows at BYOB venues? How Dare You at the Kickstand tomorrow, I'm thinking I'll hit Gator Beverage beforehand, hopefully they'll have something decent already cold.

you only drink 3 beers at a show?
that sounds like a bigger problem. find a friend to split a case maybe.

I keep some mittens in my car just for that reason. Inevitably I end up giving a less resourceful friend one of them and sticking my one bare hand in my pocket. As a side note - I did not make it to the show as planned b/c of a Christmas party out in BFE that night.

that sounds like a bigger problem. find a friend to split a case maybe. I usually keep my drinking and my punk rock separate, but if it's BYOB, I can have good beer for cheap, so it's really more like just hanging out with friends, adn bands happen to be playing. And I did wind up drinking 5 that night. Then Jeremy and I hung out in the parking lot, talking until we were sober. I only had 6 beers during the whole Fest. Janeen, we missed you.

i get thirsty when I rock out.
you drank 5 beers, then waited till you got sober? this seems fishy. you're a big(ger) dude, were these 40oz beers? i'm by no means an alky. i probably also had about 6 beers during Fest, but the last night I was hittin the whiskey hard. i find being in the 'happy zone' is the best place for shows.
ok, how about i'll bring a 12-er and you can have 3 or 4 or whatever gets you unthirsty?

Aw, shucks. I missed you guys. I was super sad when multiple people texted me with set times. I didn't realize I wasn't going to make it there at all until about 11 pm. next time.
