Rabbit Proof Fence Pretty sure I watched this because of you. I was familiar with the history but that movie really made me better understand what it was really like. Wonderful movie. Absolutely heartbreaking! Speaking of "based on true stories: movies, I've been watching them lately too. I own and LOVE both of these: My Left Foot The Straight Story (Never would have thought Lynch could make a Disney film but it is PERFECT.) That is what Netflix friends are for...although I've been bad about leaving notes to you lately. Wristcutters is in my queue now. I'll check on those two, as well. Get ready to saw "Awwww" a lot and cry. In a good way, mostly. I'm a wreck at the end of The Straight Story in a happy sad way.

I own Chasing Amy but never want to watch it because it bums me out so much and leaves me feeling hopeless about relationships. Boo. I stopped watching it because someone pointed out how annoying Joey Adams voice is in it and now that's all I pay attention to the thing that bugs me most about Chasing Amy is Ben Affleck's goatee. On one side of his mouth the chin connects to the mustache, but on the other side. DRIVES ME NUTS. Still, Chasing Amy was the first Kevin Smith film i saw, so it holds a special place in my heart. And I love all the comic nerd stuff.

Since I started at Clerks and then saw Mallrats, Chasing Amy was downhill in my mind. Ever see the "other" Clerks ending, whoaa. I'm actually into it getting serious like that at the end. A real kick to the head.

chasing Amy was kind of weird, but have you ever seen his other movie Vulgar? That shit was fucked up, I'd suggest not seeing it, it kind of ruins Kevin Smith for everyone

So you can take the horrifying aspects of it off your mental image of Kevin Smith.

I've been hesitatnt to see it. i heard it will actually freak me out. I'm wondering if it will. That's really hard to do. Oh and Kevin smith is one of the actors in Vulgar. Not the director or producer. So I guess the Silent Bob image has been ruined for Justin. What will be worse for me is the character Ethan Suplee plays. I only know him best as Randy. Earl's brother from My Name is Earl. Although, he was first seen in Mallrats and later in Chasing Amy (to make all that go full cirle back to Kevin Smith ).
