So I called and talked to Dave. It turns out I won the Young Livers/Bridge & Tunnel 7" that YL used for their Euro tour limited to 200 on a special color that I didn't catch exactly. I'm stoked for it. No Idea's pretty rad. Like we didn't know already. Thanks guys.

the song Young Livers put on that split is easily my new favorite of theirs, Bridge and Tunnel's side is equally as awesome.

congrats on winning the definition of awesomeness

When are you going to tell me if you are the Jeremy from Gville who won that Descendants stuff or not?

same, usually I don't mind if it's a pre-order for something but if I'm getting a record that been out for awhile I always wonder if the mail guy might see it and be like "this lazy bastard only live 3 miles away"

I've been meaning to ask if they ever thought about doing local pickups at the office, or maybe they do that and I've just never noticed

You just call them and tell them when you're coming.
It's that easy.

Sometimes people come and pick up stuff here. Usually it's people we already know. We do kind of discourage everyone doing it because
1) The guys downstairs are usually pretty busy
2) We're not a record store and we don't want to take away business from local shops like Wayward Council, Hyde & Zeke's, etc.

that makes sense as to why you don't do it
I'm sure it would slow down the mail order process if people keep randomly coming in and asking for stuff throughout the day

I know another Jeremy is Gville that is WAY into the Descendents/ALL wonder if it was him. Good chance.

Didn't you do something sort of like "will call" at Waywards for a while? like you could order by mail, and then it would just be waiting in a box with your name on it at Wayward Council? Or was it the other way around, you could just drop off a No Idea order at Wayward?

That sounds familiar. If you're from Gainesville and call in your order we could do something like that. Wayward still gets records from us all the time.

I know if I had to pick up my No Idea order at Wayward I would end up just spending more money on stuff there too, that place is awesome.

it probably was since I didn't win anything, unless Jeremy is a popular Gainesville name

WTF? Which OWTH LP did you get? From The Bottom totally didn't come with a download code! Also, I just realized the other day that I don't own a copy of Hospitals on wax...I need to do something about that, pronto...

Uh...never mind, found it! Looks like its printed on the back of an old sales list, looks like some of it is a listed of who was buying Fest tickets. Haha, awesome! How I didn't manage to find the little slip of paper in there after searching EVERY piece of vinyl I bought at Fest at least TWICE for download codes is totally beyond me! Still need that copy of Hospitals though...
