During Fest down time we need to have this thread, because a lot of the current Fest related threads start to take up TV and movie discussions and quoting.

So yeah, here you go. :D

I did not enjoy Quantum of Solace
but I believe it's becuase the audio was messed up at the movie theater, the dialogue cut out at random times and I swear we were only getting mid's from the front of the place the entire time.

I did greatly enjoy Madagascar 2

I need to see Quantum as the last one had the best intro of most movies ever

I don't have cable and as I previously mentioned somewhere on this board, I can't go see movies in the theatre. Last time I went I nearly got in a fight. I just can't understand why people have to be such inconsiderate assholes??? :x

I pretty much watch at least 4 movies a week with Netflix and love it. :D

I got Netflix just before Fest, and have been lazy and only watched one movie so far with it.

I love movies, much more so than anything on TV, but I don't watch nearly as many as I would like.

The only current TV show I really make any half-assed effort to watch is King Of The Hill. I'm sure there are good shows on TV, I just can't be bothered. If it's really good enough, there will be buzz, I'll get curious, and maybe I'll see it on DVD someday.

That's how I ended up by the Carnivale, Mr. Show and My Name is Earl series DVD sets! :D

I heart my Netflix.

I just saw Surfwise on Sunday night. Pretty intriguing:

ooh, I'm a wanna-be movie buff!

i saw solace last week. i liked casino royale better. this one had some really sweet action, the story tried to be better but it just didn't pull through. i like this bond girl, though!not the worst bond IMO.

I think i disagree 100% on everything the Rhode Island kid thinks. Maybe i should quit posting, just imagine me saying the opposite! weird.

don't watch TV, but I like several shows I will get on DVD. The wire is good, and I dont know why. it's SOOO boring. Entourage is also fun to watch, it's well written and acted, even if you hate cali and the LA scene like I do. The last one is House because he's a replica of the asshole I am in real life!

"The inspiring and tumultuous story of 85-year old surfer, health advocate and sex guru, Dr. Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz, his wife Juliette, and their 9 children who were all home-schooled and raised in a small camper on the beach, where they surfed and had to adhere to the strict diet and lifestyle of animals in the wild."

This will give you a good taste:

Recently I've seen Sex Drive, which was pretty funny, Itty Bitty Titty Comittee, which is about anarcho-feminists and is awesome if you like Bikini Kill and a couple Audrey Hepburn movies, Sabrina and How To Steal a Million, both were pretty good.

The only TV shows I try to keep up on are Heroes and Burn Notice. I watch lots of Futurama and Adult Swim reruns on my fiance's TiVO. Otherwise I usually will just watch whatever is on The History Channel at the time...

I watch him to but I'm usually half paying attention and I skip most of the interviews, I just always thought Daily Show was a lot better
