There was one girl at The Fest who was really cute and friendly, but it was at The Kickstand, so I was worried she might be underage, and of course she was really dirty (almost everyone at The Kickstand is dirtier than your average Fester, and for many it's a lifestyle choice, not just Fest weekend. I think it has something to do with "folk" or "crust" or something)

I saw her at the Murs show the other night, and she was all cleaned up, and had a 21+ wristband! And of course her boyfriend was there too. Whatever, new friends are still cool.

funny this came up, there was some guy staying at the hostel and he brought up like an aspect of Fest sex, he was kind of a hippie and he was like "what if in line you were all massaging each other" and I was like we hug and give handshakes and daps, that's pretty outreaching for strangers, dude was all about Fest orgy.

I saw this kid there with what looked like his ONLY set of clothes, rolling his own cigarettes, his shirt had all those little hanging dirty clumps and he looked like he just got off some stranded island made of dirty bus tires in an ocean of post-katrina drainage ditch water. I named him 'pip' and at some point he was sleeping under one of those plastic recycling tubs you put tin cans in. i wanted to give him a dollar or something, but i thought it might be 'cool' to look like you're a homeless 12 year old these days, who knows!?

at least he won't feel the recession! he may make some new buddies!
