and Philip, I actually wasn't trying to prove how "hardcore" I am. I actually do have an AB tattoo and I just really love that band.

A lot of what you guys have said I would vote "yes" for so HARD!

I agree with-
Teenage Bottlerocket
The Loved Ones
Streetlight Manifesto (Doubt they would ever do it)
Defiance, Ohio

Out of retirement-
The Merkurs (Heard of them? Cleveland?)
Jawbreaker
Piebald

Yep.

Have Heart are a bunch of assholes who say their from Boston. But they're actually from New Bedford, like A Wilhelm Scream. Except no where near as awesome. And I know Sean Murphy of Verse isn't going to bother with the Fest. Dude's vegan straight edge to the max.

one day I decided to make a list of all the bands I had on cd, then the internet was invented and the more bands I dig, they go on the list, it's simple math, I am very poor due to my record consumption though, seriously it's a terrible addiction

Why all the hatred of HH? You'd fight them if they came near the Fest?

I think the more mature thing would be just don't go see them at their show. Seriously, the Fest can't be full of bands you like. ugh.

and Philip, I actually wasn't trying to prove how "hardcore" I am. I actually do have an AB tattoo and I just really love that band.

I don't get it. First of all, are you trying to say that just because someone is straight edge they won't have a good time at the Fest? Not true... I'm proof. also, there's a shit ton of vegan friendly places to eat in Gainesville so I don't see what being "vegan straight edge to the max" has anything to do with it.

and really now. you hate HH JUST because they tell fibs about where they're from?

OY VEY. None of what you're saying makes any sense.

I'm not saying it because he's straight edge. I'm saying it because I know him and he wouldn't. And HH are a bunch of brocore tough guys, or try to be at least. Last time I saw Verse, they played and the guy couldn't even sing the songs "because of touring so much". The crowd sang the whole time. Never saw anything like it in my life. Murphy had no problem though. Can't sing songs? Don't be in a band.

^Still doesn't make sense, but whatever.

and is Sean really that uptight that he wouldn't play the Fest? Again, whatever. I understand PBR *is* one of the sponsors but it's not like they're the main sponsor.

met a lot more straight edge people than I thought I would at The Fest this year

I actually barely had anything to drink the whole weekend mainly because I was running around with a camera 24/7 or being the driver to those warehouse shows
