Worst: queuing for ages outside 1982 to see Dear Landlord, realising that we would never make it inside in time to see them, heading to Checkers to get a burger that took FOREVER to come and tasted like shit.. then getting a text from Terry who was also in the queue that he and his girlfriend were snuck in the back by someone (naming no names) and that the place was in fact half-empty despite the massive line, Dear Landlord were incredible (duhh) and that he 'was complete' and 'can now die happy'. I felt close to actual physical tears.

Best: Everything else.

Best:

-Lawrence Arms followed by None More Black
-The delirious and drunken state I was in when smashing ice into my own face watching D4, i don't think I can recreate that again
-Eating a certain someone's face throughout the whole of Municipal Waste haha
-The whole of Friday night at Common Grounds
-Andy's bacon rants
-Banging on doors of soriorty houses and running away..
-MUG NIGHT

I bet anyone any amount of money Terry's bests are going to include "sneaking into the back of 1982 to see Dear Landlord.." and "that time Paddy from Dillinger Four bought me a whisky"..

Though technically a pre-fest best and not actual Fest it was just so damn good that it had to be included

Sneaking in the back should be in EVERY show-go-er's bag of tricks. It earned me a lot of love (and a free drink) in a couple Fest lines.

I don't remember ranting about bacon but as a rule America doesn't do proper bacon so the rant was probably well deserved!!

One night I recorded you on my phone, next time I see you I'll play it to you haha. The "my mum used to ask me, do you want sausages or bacon?, so id say.. cant i have both?!" was a favourite for me, it just came out of nowhere :P!

That thing got so many plays the following few days, all followed by raging laughs.. I think you (Andy) were saying something else funny before it which prompted the recording, but the Bacon moment eclipsed whatever that was entirely.

I love all you English folk and your usage of the word "queue". Reminds me of a line from the Hitchhiker's Guide movie:

"I'm British, I know how to queue".

after Daniel borrowed my car I drove for a good 2 min with the thing up without realizing it
