lol, we all have differnt tastes. but yeah, he could have spent more time on the review of the music, other than some shitdicked carrying on about his lame shirt.
sawtooth's review: the reviewer is a douchebag.

They don't sound alike at all, except for Ninja Gun's slightly countryish songs here and there.
but Ninja Gun does have a split 7" coming out with Whiskey & Co, so maybe the reviewer is just confused, or communicates poorly?

Yeah, I didn't really get that review either.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Razorcake Ninja Gun Interview that should be in the new issue. I don't like the Razorcake website though. Not easy to navigate. I hope it will be posted there. With any luck I'll have a photo at least published in the hard copy version. Anyway, the interviews are always funny especially if they are with Coody.

i think it's slightly taken out of context. it's his personal style of reviewing. it would be appropriate to compare it to other review he has done. as for talking about the shirt, he's relaying his reaction to the band's name and how it caused him to recall the incident about the shirt. when i play ninja gun's music for people, they're a little apprehensive because the name really doesn't do the music justice. he admitted that it was hard to review it due to loose interpretations of 'punk', but in the end, enjoyed it. i agree Whiskey & Co was a poor choice for comparison, if you listen to a lot of music similar to Ninja Gun's, but i think Todd doesn't listen to much music similar to NG's. that said, i always describe them as Tom Petty fronting the Replacements. and this is one of my fav. albums of the year.

I read on the Razorcake site a while ago that they would give a free lifetime subscirption to anyone who got a razorcake tattoo. I wonder if the deadline for that has passed.
