Okay. Maybe it's just me and I'm a self-conscious wuss.
Are we all socially retarded weirdos that are way too reflective when meeting each other while waiting in line to get into the venues, but are totally fine after a few drinks and sweaty hugs, singing along to our favorite songs together? Is the Fest the cure to this handicap?

I'm not awkward. But music is the drug, for sure.

I think I made some festers feel awkward because I'm so socially "Hey, I'm Erica!" I'm kind of a weird character, but not socially awkward. I thought a few people hated me because I'm a tad crazy.

I'm completely socially awkward in the sense that I just don't give a fuck what people think. I'll totally hit on your mom right in front of your dad. All because I think its funny.

I can be socially retarded sometimes. Sharkie and I breifly discussed this at The Fest.
The Fest is probably my most outgoing weekend of the year. I swing back and forth between very outgoing and incredibly shy, sometimes even in similar situations. More often the latter.

I think social awkwardness is the basis of punk rock, that being said Chason you met me sober, then again you've seen my picture, I think it's like a fear of the unknown or you're like what the fuck am I going to say to a stranger, working retail helps though because you're forced to speak to starangers so you get better at it, I'm still awful with girls and I'll finally muster up and get denied so it kinda sends me back to square one, what's that btmi line? "Hey, would you like me if I stayed forever young?
Well, it sucks, but no one does.
Get used to staying out of touch with everyone you'll ever meet.
Continue feeling awkward in all social surroundings" -Even Winning Feels Bad

Does this mean you want me to hit on your mom? It just wouldn't feel right if its sanctioned by her offspring. Anyways we can hang out anytime. We live in the same town. You've got my phone number right?

You guys were all chill. You've heard it all before but I'm one of those 'shy and quiet until you get to know me' types but I was reverse at The Fest...no drinks in me. Everyone's so afraid of making the first move and worrying about what to say once all the options are out. It's weird, it's like now The Fest was the change that made me more comfortable talking to random strangers now.
