Yes I do thankfully, haha
Otherwise I'd be COMPLETELY screwed guy wise. But yeah, I only go just so young.

21-22 years old would seem to be the optimum age to keep the pool fresh. Any younger, they can't drink, and a little creepy. Any older, and they're probably on their way out of town.

All depends on the age of BOTH people. That may be your age range preferences but that is far too young for me. I'm more comfortable with 25+, and I think most people out at shows/bar in Gville are around this age.
I know a LOT of people over 22 that never left Gville after "school", or never even got through school. Depresses me that, that is enough for so many people I know. I just can't imagine myself getting serious anymore with someone that never finished college, is in a band, works nightlife/food service, and/or has no aspirations to get out of Gville.
I pretty much just knocked off a LARGE percentage of my options in just about any college town.

I was actually suggesting Jana seek out 21 year old dudes, as a joke. I know you porbably want guys a LITTLE older than that, but excluding non-graduated punk rockers does pretty much kill your dating pool.

Jana, I'm so glad you chimed in coz I'm not trying to turn this thread into a freakin personal add for myself.. conversation, yeah. .. and they gotta be rad.. to me, as long as I don't have to support their ass-- because I have enough going on to deal with-- I don't really care about "success" too much right now. I'm not trying to settle down. a rad guy to have fun with is fine with me.
But whatever. I got a man cub to raise and derby to play (and I need to get a job). Everything else will just have to fall into place.
Boys are fun though.

Yeah, HUGE turnoff are people that are always mentioning how bored they are. I almost never get bored, EVER.
HUGE turn-on, awesome meaningful conversation.
Apparently I ask for too much in this world though.

right on, how can someone bored these days? even if you're lazy, there are millions of great books to read (there're hundreds on my wishlist). learn how to cook, learn a new language, learn to paint or learn photography, learn how to skateboard (i need to do this), collect stamps, whatever. there's no excuse to sit around really. i'm so anti-boredom i haven't had cable tv in about 4 yrs. and like they say there's *always* a party in gainesville.
and hence, if you're into something, you'll have something to talk about. my friend katy who came down from cincinnati to Fest talked about roller derby 25 hours a day, you guys are right on in that it takes over one's life.
my worse point is that i've been too busy to be into really music the past few years, so all the guys who are really tuned into the scene make me feel dumb and poseurish. "uh... i like um... less than jake? i hear rancid is good"
