Name some bands that you saw or heard for the first time during Fest that you were kicking your ass for not being able to sing along to.
Personally I have to do some serious catching up on None More Black, for some reason I just never bothered to check them out and they fucking blew me away live. I was literally bitching all day afterward about how I needed to know some lyrics.

IRON CHIC!
The Measure [sa]!!!
Pink Razors
Slingshot Dakota
Fake Problems
Dan Padilla
Vena Cava
But that list will probably, like, sextuple once I start going through the schedule and looking up bands I've never heard of...
And for some reason, despite the fact that I am pretty sure I have listened to them before, I never knew O'Pioneers kicked so much ass!

I also drunkenly bought a Black Tusk shirt when I thought I was buying a different band's shirt. I have never heard them and did not see them. The next day I was like "how the fuck did I end up with this..."
I at least should hear them to see if I can stand to wear this thing, haha!

Pink Razors, the Anchor and Shark Pants.
I was already getting into Off With Their Heads a few months beforehand, but never payed enough attention to the lyrics, those are some songs id like to sing along to.
I've been listening to Municpal Waste for a while now...seeing them live was awesome, but i dont think itd be of any use to sing along. theyd fuck you up.

Oh shit, that's right I saw them too! I completely forgot to add that to my list of bands I shot. I nearly didn't see the rest of that night because my face almost melted off!!!!

Didn't really discover any new bands by seeing them at The Fest, except for imadethismistake, because he took over Saw Wheel's spot on the schedule.
There were a couple of bands I already liked prior to Fest, but I did not feel my sing-alongs were up to par. How Dare You, Sakes Alive, Screaming Females. And a LOT of bands that I do like, but did not make more of an effort to catch because I was not nearly as familiar with their material as I would like to be.
Low Red Land gave me a free CD, just because we were shooting the shit, I will listen to it soon, and hopefully see them next year. They were playing opposite Hour Of The Wolf.

I was happy to have downloaded some Shark Pants from myspace before this year's Fest, I went apeshit when they played the three songs I had been listening to. I just tracked down and ordered their two CD's, so I can be up to date on their full discography if and when they return next year. I also want to see if I actually remember any of the songs on the CD's that I heard live.
I also want to get a hold of Alligator's album in preparation for future shows, but I'll prolly see them somewhere in FL way before next year's Fest.

seriously, our friend ran into us and said "come on, you're seeing shark pants." we went and they blew us away. the drive behind those songs...man, it just keeps chugging along. my buddy got the CD and i read the lyrics and I was amazed how simple they really are. one song repeats a phrase over and over pretty much the whole time and it stll fucking rocks. i forget all of the lyrics now.

How the hell did we not meet? If you were down there in the pit area I got photos of you. I was up standing behind/next to the bands on a work bench and hanging onto the rafters shooting. I think I spotted you on stage during Th Holy Mountain too. Could it be you??? If so, I think I know what you look like now.
