I really wish we had all gone around and introduced ourselves like on the Fester Introduction thread here instead of being told to shut up the whole time. THAT WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. So glad I know who you are now sweetheart!

Ah-ha! You were that guy.

There was the "shut the fuck up and be miserable and hot in silence" team.

And there was the "let's make this into a party smart-ass" team.

Let's just say you were on my team. I was also the one that didn't want the vent to open and gash my head open. I believe I made you switch spots with me (somehow) so that you could fuck w/the vent and prop it open with beer cans for more air.

Sadly, I think you managed to escape all my photos though because we were RIGHT next to one another. I'll start editing to post some up now.

So we just got on the elevator to escape security after the "hall party/room show".



The door kept opening and more people kept getting. Until there are 18.
People were joking about jumping up and down to screw up the elevator.
A bunch of us are shhshing that possibilty.



Then we free fall and there is a crunch noise, the doors open
to a wall of metal/cement. Chase is stoked. Others are not.
A lot of us laugh and cheer.



Things get WAY too serious.



Virgil is either writing a blog about it online or Twittering for sure.

After the "alarm" button is pushed and we wake up much of Holiday Inn,
Caroline finds the "Emergency Phone" I said to look for. (I've done this before.)



Chico is SO scared.



The walls begin to drip sweat and Var gives us the "this
happens all the time don't worry" speech.



Virgil is bummed because he's running out beer in the cooler.



I'm SO scared too. Chase and I soon after start in
on the 007 theme song and people get pissed.

OK guys who in the elevator and didn't know, that guy on the phone is Ethan.
He just had his 100th beer for the Fest weekend winning a $20 bet and started
hallucinating that he was seeing ghosts just before getting into the elevator. So
when he decided to call 911 about 45 minutes after the fact and then yelled at us
again and again to "SHUT THE FUCK UP", he had just popped back into reality
and didn't know that the Fire Dept was already there. He also vanished into the
streets of Gville afterwards but was later found. Just thought I'd tell you that...haha



Look at that sweat dripping, mmmm. When I got out some estimated it had been
45 minutes. Later I looked at my text messages/times and it was more like and
hour and a half we were in there!!!



The Fire Dept informs us that they can only get us through the ceiling hatch.
We cheer and soon after we see light in there.



First signs of other life beyond our world, and an amazingly tiny ladder.



Our best friend Mr. Ladder.

I Seriously think i would have puked... I hate elevators.

OH HAI FRIEND!!!



And we escape the clown car of elevators one by one.





The doors open again and I can see people above us through a small opening.

Joey didn't speak one word until the hatch opened, he was
not stoked on being in there. Virgil loved the "experience".

not as cool as Ethan and 100 beers in a weekend, but building up until Fest-weekend and through Post-Fest karaoke i did go 8 days straight of drinking... which was only broken by my election day sobriety
