Polls closed an hour ago on most of the East Coast.
I hope Virginia gets called for Obama by 11 pm, so I can go to bed knowing he won the whole enchillada.

with only 23% of precints reporting, there are already almost a million more votes counted in FL than the entire 2000 election.
in FL's 8th Congressional District, Grayson is winning 53% over Ric Keller, with 76% reporting. This is good news, Ric Keller was one of the worst guys in Congress.

Alachua County is sort of a lonely rebel here in N FL.

HOLY SHIT
CNN and NBC are calling Ohio for Obama. If they are right, that means he wins it all.

Even FOX NEWS is calling Ohio AND VIRGINIA for Obama now.
by standards of recent election trends, it's a fucking landslide.

I didn't vote. But I still recognize that this is something huge. I watched his election speech and shed a tear. It goes to show that shit can actually change and all hope is not lost. Now we just need a president that doesn't believe in invisible men in the sky and we'll be good to go.

I'm watching from England and I shed more than one
I can't believe this would affect me so much. I wish I'd stayed over there for a few days longer to witness this first hand.
