Next year I'm definitely thinking about getting there a day or two early.

Also, now that I realize how much closer the Days Inn, Comfort Inn and Econolodge are than the Paramount, I may consider staying at one of those next year... cheaper too I'm sure.

hopefully, I will still be at my new job next year (Monday was my first day!) , and I will have paid time off available next year, so I can go to pre-fest, and have a day to recover.

And stay up later, and hang out with more people. I got lots of hang-out time in, but I didn't really sit down to eat with anyone this year, and I really like doing that.

Holy shit, that just made me remember that I'll have paid vacation this time next year! Eeeeeep! Family members, I am NOT using that time for extra holiday visits...


And whoever had the post-Fest shits.. I started that at about 6 am Sunday after my hangover-even-though-I-never-slept started

I've actually had a bit of Post-Fest constipation.

Ya'll don't wanna see what I hocked up this morning. Bleh.
But funny story for myself was when I racked up a $40 bar tab at the venue and when I went to close it, was told they don't take Discover!
So sorry for the bartender- I had no cash at all... but got like 3 Long Islands and some rum and cokes for free!

usually they take your card when you start a tab... if that was teh case, and they didn't tell you THEN that they don't take discover, YOU WIN, because it was totally their fault.

I'm gonna try that next year.

That is exactly what happened-- it was all them... Still wish I could have tipped the guy, tho.
